Carthage, Branson- The Works

I had an awesome night this past Friday night with our good friends, Canaan Bound and guests Bill Burns and Ninth Hour, as always! If you weren't able to go for some reason, you missed a very blessed evening. As I said, one of the guests I'm sure you've heard of, the amazing songwriter/singer Bill Burns. But the other group is sort of new to the stage, (not much newer than me of course, but still pretty new). They are, as I said earlier, Ninth Hour, and if you've never heard them before, man, you're missing an awesome group. They're an all male quartet with just a piano player, and boy can he, Matt Holt (not the same guy as with The Perrys, though), play that piano! The group consists of Tenor-John Wilkins, Lead-Tim Louderback, Baritone-BJ Huffman, Bass-Sam Green and Pianist-Matthew Holt (sorry if I spell any of these wrong).
The next day, (Saturday), I had to get up (too) early. We had to leave pretty early to head for Branson and not have to rush with the slick roads and all the fog and all. We also had to stop at Wally World :) to get a few things and guess who we saw Barbara Fairchild! She is such a sweet lady, but she was in definite incognito!
We had the CGMA (Country Gospel Music Association) meeting and had a wonderful time of food, fellowship, and singing.
Saturday night we went to Denny's meeting type room and had a time of worship in that place with the Best Is Yet To Come Ministries-Gospel Praise Gathering, actually the songwriter's showcase and group night. there was some amazing moments of tears, laughter and just being confused, (well I did anyway:))!
Hope I've enlightened your day/night/morning (I know I'm all mixed up:)) in some way, shape or form! God bless ya'll and see/write/talk to ya'll later!
