Sunday June 1st, 2008

Since we just stayed another night from the GPG weekend in Branson, we decided to go to church in Branson that next day, which was a Sunday. So...we went to the Cowboy Church there in Branson (obviously in Branson!) Pretty Miss Norma Jean (used to be on the Porter Wagner show) and her husband Al Martin are the ones who run the church, and they do a good job. But also one of our singing friends sang that day, so it was good getting to see her again (and we had seen her the past couple of days too!) She was Ginger Boles, just in case you were wondering!
After that, we stopped in Ozark to get a quick bite (and eat the rest of our food, not just one bite) and hurried to Springfield because we sang at Maranatha Village's chapel, (where we sing each month on the second Tuesday)! We had a really good time with some of our friends who also sang! Who also sang were Julie Renee, Steve Anthony, Linda Henson (who works there), Doug Perser, and the Cerces. We may not have had a whole come out to hear all of us, but we still had a great time!
