July 4th Celebration~Carthage!

We had a great attendance, especially considering the fact that a lot of people was out at different other places celebrating Independence Day! We had well over 300 people! OK, just want to say a special Happy Birthday to Keith Schneider (the bass for Canaan Bound), even though it's late~like about 6 days! Sorry!
Back the concert~FIRST of all, of course, we HAD to honor the Veterans! We would not be where we are without them! And right now, I thank EACH AND EVERYONE of you who have served, are serving, or have a close loved one who has/is! Thank You!
After we honored the Veterans, we sang a few songs, and then Bill Burns, the amazing songwriter himself, sang. And then Canaan Bound closed it out with some really good songs! A lot of which the lead singer, Gary Crawford (who's also the owner of the group), wrote, but they are starting to sing a lot of songs that other people wrote.

I just want to personally invite YOU ALL next month to this singing!

WHERE: First Baptist in Carthage, MO (but it's usually at Fairview Baptist, they just had some scheduling conflicts for this particular weekend)
