Marshall Baptist Temple September 21, 2008

Oh, man!! WOW!! We had a GREAT time at that Church!! In the Sunday school class...George taught in the adults class, but I went with the teens, and if you know me, you know that that's pretty strange! I don't normally feel really comfortable around teens. I'm so used to oldER people! But I really liked going in with them! The girl that brought me in there really helped me feel more at "home" there, and her name is Crystal Lopez.
We would like to thank Pastor Claude and Mrs. Lee Fields and the rest of the Church for letting us come up and sing for you all! And thanks for making arrangements for us to stay at the Comfort Inn in Sedalia, MO on Saturday night. But also before we totally settled and relaxed, we went and ate at Colton's Steakhouse, which was FANTASTIC! That's where you eat the peanuts and throw the shells on the floor, but I and my Mom didn't! George on the other hand...did! Of course, this was the only time he can make a mess and not get in trouble!
So if you're ever in Sedalia, MO, and need somewhere to spend the night, we suggest Comfort Inn, and if you need somewhere to eat, we highly recommend Colton's Steakhouse!

Ok, back to singing at the church! I sang a special that morning, and then George preached. Then after Church, the Pastor and his wife took us out to eat at Applebee's and we had great fellowship! AND THEN...they were so nice, and since we didn't have anywhere else to go there, because we were going to be singing there that night, they brought us over to their house, where we sat and talked, and dozed, and watched the news a little...those sorts of things...lol! We also ate some GREAT Angel food cake with some mixed fruit on it for dessert!
And finally, we went to the Church and sat up sound, sang (and they were a great audience as well), took down sound equipment, got it all out to the van and left...
Well, that IS what we did! But we also talked afterwards to the people! Hey, we're not stuck up! Ha ha! Anyway, they were really sweet!
If you're ever in Marshall, MO on a Sunday and need a Church to go to...Marshall Baptist Temple, if you don't mind going to a Baptist church that is!
