Awards Banquet GPG...September 20, 2009

Well, it was once again a great day for that GPG/Crossroads weekend.
Here I am with the little booklet in front of me that they gave everyone to say who all was going to be there that night...(well, like the one's who helped out, finalists and all...), but there's just too much in here to put it all down! SO, I'll try to fit in everything I possibly can! Lol.
It was truly a night to remember. D.K. and Sherrie Brewster are the one's in "charge" of this particular ministry in Branson that we go to monthly to sing at.
The finalists are...
For Female vocalist there were Ginger Boles, Dee Froneyburger, Sally Niner and Julie Reneé...and the winner is...(drum role)...Julie Reneé!
For Male Vocalist there were Charlie Norman, Bob Morse, Randy Plummer and Ron Stanart...and the winnerS are...(there was a tie)...Charlie and Randy!
For Young Artist there were Miss Keely and Jaimee Brewster...and the winner is...Jaimee Brewster!
For Quartet there were 4 His Glory and Journey On...and the winner is...4 His Glory!
For Duet there were The Eatons, The Lakins, The Messengers and Julie Reneé/Rick Pifer...and the winner is...Julie and Rick!
For Trio there were The Bryants and GPG Trio...and the winner is...GPG Trio!
For Golden Pen Songwriter there were Sally Niner/Judy Morse, Randy Plummer and Julie Reneé...and the winner is...Julie Reneé!

Now for the NEW HORIZONS AWARDS!
For VOCAL FINALISTS there were Paul Jones, Craig Kruse, Laura Mathy, Larry Terry and Don Vaughan...and to be perfectly honest, I'm sorry, but I can't quite remember who won this category, but all them are good!
The GROUP FINALISTS were Paul&Teresa Rauch...and the winner is...well, who else but the beloved Paul and Teresa Rauch! (Lol)
And the one I was excited about...(I still can't hardly believe it)...The SONGWRITER FINALISTS there were Paul Jones, Laura Mathy, Carol Penick {me} and Larry Terry...and the winner is...Carol Penick! It was really neat...to say THE LEAST! I actually saw a glimpse of what the award said before they my name and I'm like..."NO...that DOESN'T SAY MY NAME...DOES IT?!"...and then...they say my name! I'm a little excited about it...

ANYWHO! Well, there was so much that happened that night, it was a truly blessed weekened...evening!
