College Street Baptist Church 3/14/10

We had a terrific time at the church that Sunday morning. It had been a while since we'd been there. You may or may not remember, but we that's one of the places we used to have our George and Friends concerts. It's an older building, but it really is pretty. They've been working on a few renovations, and when they're done, it'll look really good.
The Pastor (Brother Garland McGath...so sorry if I spelled your name wrong) had to be out of town, (out of state actually) so we came and sang a few numbers and then George preached as well.
Jon Hernandez, one of the guys we know from the Praise Gathering in Branson is the music director there, and so he and his wife were there of course, plus there were several others there that we knew as well.
John and Patti Shoemake, others that we know from the Praise Gathering, came that morning, which was a pleasant surprise. And course, a lady that I grew up with, (she was our neighbor at the house we used to live at), goes there, so it was nice seeing her again, too. And everyone else that was there, thanks!
