GPG Friday&Saturday of August 2010 (27th&28th)...and throw in a little surprise!

WOW! Sorry it's been so long since I've written a blog! Since March or so I believe...? Been too long! Lol.
Well, anyway, back to the subject!
We had a great time at the Gospel Praise Gathering last weekend! There were so many new and old faces there, it's hard to keep up with some of their names! Sorry, I'm not going to try to put who sang down (other than The Bryants, course, Lol...us), just in case I forget someone, and I don't want to do that. I don't have the program sheet with me right here, either.
But both nights were great with excitement and fellowship...and food! Ha-ha.
That's the "surprise" part that I had in my title up above. We went to the Barbara Fairchild's Diner afterwards, (she and her husband Roy Morris opened it up especially for the GPG afterwards...), and we were all talking ("fellowshipping...") and waiting for the food when guess who walks in the door? Gold City! Whoa! That was really neat...but not only did they just eat there after their concert that they had...they even sang a couple good ole classic quartet songs up on the stage for us! We got a free little concert by Gold City! :)
Needless to say, just like one of the guys that sang both nights (from one of the groups), if you get the chance to go eat out with a bunc of friends, don't pass it up! You never know who might show up!
