GPG 10/22-23/2010

What a great weekend this time of the month usually is.
This was the last month for it to be in the location of the Ramada Conference Room. Starting next month, it's going to be held just a few buildings away. If you have any questions, just go to http://www.yettocomeproductions.com/ and I'm sure there's someway on there to contact someone, or directions. (Or if someone from facebook's reading this, just contact George, Mom, me, Sherrie Brewster, or Debby Lakin...somehow we'll get you the directions.)
Anywho, back to the topic. There were several new artists, as well as some of the same ones that's there monthly. It was good getting to see new faces and meet new people, as we seem to do each month. According to some of the people that checked out the other place (where we'll be starting next month), it's going to hopefully have more room in it, which will be good for such a growing organization.
Friday night was the Praise Gathering, which starts 7 PM each time. The next afternoon/evening is a little different, and a little bit longer. The songwriter's showcase starts at 3, but sometimes we're a little behind and start around 3:30...so between 3 and 3:30 (PM)! :)
Then we eat at 5 PM (never have had anything bad to eat!) Someone (usually Julie Renee' and her daughters, and Debby Lakin, and Linda Henson do the meals. It's $5 for the meal, drinks, and dessert. The meals are always different each month, but always great! (And usually they have something with meat, and also an alternative for vegitarians, or more picky ones.)
Then the groups gathering starts at 7 that evening. And it's always such a great time, and I hope y'all can come join us next month!
